Claudio Calcagni arrived in London from Esperia, Italy, in 1963.
He was looking for his future and believed he’d come to the right place.
He worked selling ice-cream on an ice cream van for 10 years and matured the idea that he was going to manufacture the ice-cream he wanted people to taste!
In 1972 Claudio opened DCP ICES in 271 Mitcham Lane, London SW16 6QB and invested the next 10 years in experimenting and growing his passion…
